Dr. Chaitra V holds a BA LLB and LLM in Business Law from Bangalore University. She achieved second rank in LLM at Bangalore University and earned her doctorate in law from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. With a decade of teaching experience, her research interests include Insurance Law, Tort Law, and Statutory Interpretation. She also focuses on Juvenile Justice, Child Rights, and contract negotiation and drafting. Dr. Chaitra has published several research articles in reputed journals. She has presented papers at national and international conferences. Her articles on legal language simplification, menstrual and paternity leave, and Lokayukta appointments have appeared in national newspapers like The Hindu and Deccan Herald. She has served as the faculty coordinator for the Moot Court Society and the Public Policy and Governance Committee at the School of Law.
